Sadly I have lost a lot of images from this march. Tensions were high from the start and the police were more heavy handed than at any demonstation I had been on up to this point.
There were numerous arrests which often seemed out of the blue and clashes in Whitehall saw people fleeing for cover in shops and bars as bins were thrown up and down the street.
