The previous day Ian Tomlinson, a newspaper vendor who had nothing to do with the protests collapsed and died after being struck by a police officer. True to form the Met Police released a statement saying that police had been alerted that a man had collapsed and were attacked by "a number of missiles" as they tried to save his life. This was all later proven to be untrue as photos and videos taken by the public were soon released to the media.
The following day was much more peaceful but sadly I have since nearly all of the images I took that day apart from the two featured here that are scans from a couple of prints made years ago.
